AgriBusiness Training

In our quest to give you a very effective capacity building programs on existing technical and innovative agribusiness skills, cutting-edge knowledge, skills and information on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), APS is glad to introduce to you the following training programs.

YOUTH AGRIPRENEURSHIP TRAINING (YAT)

CA tailor-made weekend training programme for a period of 3 months (12 weeks); integrating Agriculture, Agribusiness/Entrepreneurship and Project Management. The training also covers wrap-up services in the area of mentor ship, counselling, including financing and certification.

WOMEN AGRIBUSINESS CLASS (WAC)

Also a tailor-made weekend agribusiness class to encourage more women involvement in Agriculture and boost their skills in value added product development, guidance and counseling, input and market linkages. APS, through collaboration with government empowerment agencies and grants, hopes to train 5000 women in value added commodities by 2020.

FARMERS BUSINESS CLASS (FBC)

APS, through backward integration is linking up with about 5000 farmers. This is to facilitate efficiency in production, adoption of modern farming techniques and developing more entrepreneurial rural farmers.

MODULARIZED TRAINING PROGRAMMES (MTP)

APS also organizes demand-driven modularized training programs for commodity value chain actors. The training is also provided to corporate entities and MDAs.
